Dr. Strasser grew up in Ohio and received his DVM in 1974 from the Ohio State University. He co-owned a veterinary hospital in Salisbury, NC and then founded Kildaire Animal Medical Center in 1983.
He practices at KAMC and has ownership in all four of our veterinary hospitals: Town and Country Veterinary Hospital and Boarding Facility, Gentle Care Animal Hospital, and Preston Animal Hospital.
Professionally, he is interested in small animal reproduction, especially the breeding of English Bulldogs which he has raised for many years.
He is the proud father of four children and three grandchildren. He and his wife, Pam, live in Cary. Darla, his adorable English bulldog, is the Kildaire mascot. Dr. Strasser is an avid fisherman and golfer.
