I am sad to announce that I will be leaving Kildaire Animal Medical Center in June. I have been offered a wonderful opportunity to begin a residency program at the University of Michigan Medical School.
This is an exciting opportunity to treat animals in the laboratory setting and to perform medical research, which is a passion of mine. The research will hopefully lead to advances in medicine and diagnostic tests to benefit both people and pets in the future.
While I am enthusiastic about this next step in my life, it is bittersweet because it means that I must leave KAMC. I have only been here for a short period of time, and yet the pets, owners and staff at KAMC have touched my heart. I could not have asked to work for a better clinic.
For those of you with whom I have bonded over the past year, rest assured that your pets will receive the best care and respect from the veterinarians and staff at KAMC.
